Ghost (a.k.a. Superghost) is a multiplayer word game: players take turns adding letters without completing a valid word too early. Lose a round, gain a letter of G-H-O-S-T.

How a round goes
The idea comes from a classroom game: one letter is added each turn, and the goal is to avoid completing a full word yourself. In this version players can prepend or append, which keeps rounds fast and a bit unpredictable.
You:ST: "st" is not a word. Safe.
Friend:STA: "sta" is not a word either. Still safe.
You:STAR: "star" is a word. Game over.
Multiplayer. Short rounds. Grudges included.
Project details
Ghost is open source. The backend is written in Swift using Vapor. A small side game, not actively maintained. Code is public.
